Fr Patrick Gonyeau

Fr. Patrick Gonyeau is a priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit who currently serves as the parish administrator at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Detroit.  He also serves as an Associate with Encounter Ministries, teaching at the Encounter School of Ministry Main Campus in Brighton, MI and presenting at various Encounter Ministries events nationally and internationally.  Once an agnostic, alcoholic, and suicidal young man, Fr. Patrick experienced a profound encounter with Jesus that led to a life-changing conversion and a call to the priesthood.  He was ordained on May 18, 2013 and is passionate about teaching, equipping and activating disciples to do the works of Jesus. (Jn 14:12)   He loves serving as a Catholic Priest and considers celebrating the sacraments and serving in pastoral ministry and evangelization as some of the greatest graces in his life.  His favorite saint is Mother Mary, he’s a big Michigan State Basketball fan, loves being outside and loves loves loves worshipping God.
